Palmer Residence Addition

A single family residence in West Virginia needed an additional room to house the family library. Natural light was paramount to the family, and so a skylight was introduced in such a way to preserve the collection of books. The home originally had very minimal detail, but was of traditional colonial design. Therefore, the Tuscan order was proposed for the adornment of the library interior.
